Old Fashioned Lemonade Recipe
Makes 8 servings.
6 lemons
200 g white sugar
1420 ml cold water
Firstly you're going to need to juice all of the lemons which will then produce around a cup of lemon juice. TIP: roll each lemon back and forth between your hand and the kitchen counter before you cut and juice. This will make it much easier for you.
Take a gallon pitcher and add the lemon juice with a cup of sugar and 6 cups of cold water. Then chill the juice and serve will ice.
Old Fashioned Pink Lemonade Recipe
Serves 12
1 1/2-2 c. sugar
9 c. water
2 c. lemon juice
1 c. cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
Take a large pitcher and add in all the above ingredients. You simply then give it a stir to dissolve the sugar. Then serve with ice.
Old Fashioned Sugar-Free Lemonade Recipe
2/3 cup water
1/2 cup Splenda granular
1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice (about 6-8 lemons)
4 to 6 cups cold water to taste
Combine the water and Splenda in a large measuring cup. Place it in the microwave for 2 minutes at a high heat. Then remove it from the microwave and give it a good stir to ensure that the Splenda has dissolved. If it hasn't dissolved you'll need to give it a little bit longer in the microwave.
Put a lot of ice in a serving drinks pitcher and then pour the lemon juice in followed by the Splenda mixture. Give it all a good stir.
Then add in 4 cups of cold water and give it another stir. Have a taste of the lemon juice and add more water if needed.
